ICED TEA-

Summers are incomplete without ICED-TEA! & even more when you can actually make one at home! Then why not quench the summer thirst with some chilled goodness.

Since I tried the iced tea in one of the restaurants we had been too, I remember having two big size tumblers & still couldn't get enough of it! I really loved it and the best was " Peach Iced Tea"! We tried a few flavors back then, but the peachy one stayed with me -..

So, today's post is going to be about the same. I'll be sharing two recipes of iced tea here. Both of which are good and hopefully you'd like it too and won't mind giving a try.

For the different flavors of tea, you can use loose tea or tea bags, either way, is fine. I found some real good loose peach flavor so I am going to be using that and for the other one, I am using the tea bags. So, this way you get a grip on both ways and hopefully you can figure out what works best for you.

SO, getting straight to the recipe -

PEACH BASIL ICED TEA

Ingredients

  • 6 tsp of loose peach flavored tea

  • 8 cups boiling water

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 4-6 basil leaves

  • 2 ripe peaches

Instructions

  1. In a jar or a beaker pour boiling water, and loose tea & sugar.

  2. Give it a good stir so as to melt the sugar.

  3. Strain this infused water and transfer it to the jar with the fresh slices of peaches.

  4. In to the fridge, it goes to chill for at least an hour.

  5. Add a heap of ice cubes in a glass or a jar, pour the iced tea.

  6. garnish with the basil on top and ENJOY!

POMEGRANATE ICED TEA

Ingredients

  • 6 hibiscus tea bags

  • 8 cups boiling water

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice

  • 1/4 cup pomegranate arils

Instructions

  1. In a jar or a beaker pour boiling water, and tea bags & honey.

  2. Give it a good stir.

  3. Strain this infused water and transfer it to the jar.

  4. In to the fridge, it goes to chill for at least an hour before we add the pomegranate juice.

  5. Pomegranate juice is added just before serving and give it a good stir.

  6. Add a heap of ice cubes in a glass or a jar, pour the iced tea.

  7. Garnish with some fresh pomegranate arils on top and ENJOY!

Hope you enjoy these refreshing iced tea's and if you try them don't forget to share your experience with me.
