Easy Indian Raita made with yoghurt, fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, cilantro, cumin and salt.A perfect cooling agent to cut down the delicious spicy Indian Recipe.
Its a quick, easy and one of the most popular side dish found in most of the Indian homes and restaurants. It adds a cooling flavor with a delicious punch of cumin.
For making this very easy yoghurt sauce recipe we need fresh cucumbers. I have chopped the cucumber into cubes. You can also grate it and squeeze out the excess water. This is helpful in storing any leftover sauce as the yoghurt won’t get separated by the excess water/juice from the cucumber.
For the tomatoes, I have deseeded them before chopping into cubes. It’s healthier and again you are draining out the excess juices from it.
Thats about the little brief before we look into the simple and quick recipe of the traditional Indian Raita.
