REFRESHING SUMMER PUNCHES

It’s Summer on its Peak. What better than something Refreshing and cool to beat the heat.

Today i am going to show you three different recipes with just one fruit & that’s Watermelon 🍉! It’s so loved in my family and i am sure in all of your home’s too. The juicy slushy fruit is found in every home all around Summer without a doubt. So, get your melons on the counter, some mint leaves, lemon juice, soda, a pinch of salt, sugar is optional and that’s it. We are good to GO!

Let‘s get started with the easy one -

  • 1 1/2 cup watermelon cubes

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1-2 tbsp sugar syrup (optional)

  • 3/4 cup soda water

Instructions

Place all the ingredients in the blender and pulse smooth. Pour it in a jar and enjoy the summer smilingly. Enjoy!

WATERMELON MOJITO

Ingredients

  • 4-6 watermelon balls/cubes

  • 4 lemon quarters

  • 10-12 mint leaves

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 3/4 cup soda water

  • Ice cubes

  • A jar/glass

Instructions

  1. In the jar add the watermelon balls or cubes, lemon quarters and mint leaves. Muddle this well. Add ice cubes, sugar syrup, salt, lemon juice, the soda water and give it a stir. Grab your straw and gulp it down! Cheers 🥂

WATERMELON SLUSHY

Ingredients

  • A quarter of watermelon

  • Juice of 1-2 lemons

  • 4-5 mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the watermelon and the lemon juice together. Pour it in a dish and let freeze for 4-5 hours or overnight. Take a fork and scrape the frozen mixture and you’ll see your brain-freezing-slushy is ready. Scoop it out and treat yourself and your loved ones. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • For the watermelon juice if your melon is sweet I suggest don’t add sugar. I like to enjoy the natural taste of the fruits.

  • For the Mojito, if your tastebuds don’t like the minty flavor you can cut down that to half for just a subtle flavor.

  • For the Slushy, I skipped the mint here, but you can add it and it’s refreshing and cooling to have fresh herbs init.
