Healthy eating is highly beneficial. Though it may become a little difficult to cater to all the do’s and don’t’s while keeping a watch on what’s going in your body. But, if it’s homemade it becomes all the less stressful, because you choose what goes in and what doesn’t.
These bars are highly nutritious. Good for having in breakfast or midday meal. Or simply have it with your tea. No compulsions - just suit yourself.
The ingredients used in making these bars have their own benefits. Dates, Oats, coconut, chia and flax seeds are all highly beneficial in terms of shedding those extra-kilos of your body and giving you energy at the same time.
So heading straight on with the recipe -
POWER-BARS | ENERGY BITES
Total Time : 20 minutes

Ingredients-
1 cup oats (any kind)
2 tbsp coconut (fresh preferable)
Quarter cup peanuts
Quarter cup any other choice of nut ( I used walnuts)
2 cups of dates (deseed)
2 tbsp 🧈 butter
1 tbsp flax seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
Instructions-
Heat the oats, coconut,peanuts and walnuts (or any other choice of nuts) on medium heat until mildly roasted.
Transfer to a bowl and add the dates, butter, flax seeds & chia seeds and with the help of your hand mix the mixture while warm.
This helps the butter to melt and the dates to soften and help combine evenly.
Transfer to a tray and flatten it.
Let cool before slicing into bars.
You can refrigerate them in an airtight container for over a week.
